Brandon grew up in Littleton CO where he learned to appreciate the outdoors through camping, mountain biking, and just getting up to the mountains whenever possible. In high school, Brandon played on a state championship soccer team and frequently competed in state track and field events. During his time at Colorado State University, he majored in Computer Science and was a member of the Division 1A track team.
After college Brandon spent 4 years in Iraq, where he first discovered CrossFit in 2004 and began organizing group workout sessions. While spending two years in Dubai as a Project Manager for a hotel developer he started to compete in half and full marathons. Brandon finally moved back to Washington DC where he joined his first affiliated CrossFit gym, learned lifting technique under a former Olympic Gold Medalist, and became CrossFit level 1 certified.
When he moved to Louisville, he gave up his career working behind a desk and decided to get his masters degree in Holistic Nutrition and start a nutrition counseling business so he could empower people to change their lives for the better. As a nutritionist and athlete, Brandon brings an attention to detail to form, function, and diet that allows for maximum potential.
When not at the gym, Brandon enjoys spending time with his daughter Jenssen and his wife Heather.
