(Even though his face shows just how uncomfortable he is, Bruce has been making a big effort to spend time in a perfect squat position. Practice makes perfect. When you spend time under tension in the correct positions, your body starts to master them, memorize them, and make them part of your everyday movement patterns. Can you learn from Bruce and work on something you need to improve?)
**Work up as heavy as possible and try to hit a new PR. Check out these scores from April 13th to see how your score stacks up.
Level 1 & 2 WOD:
KB Snatch (L+R=2… you do not have to alternate each rep) (L2-53,35) (L1-20,18)
KB Thrusters (L2-53,35) (L1-20,18)
**For the KB Thrusters, in order for your rep to be valid, you must have your free hand supporting/touching the KB during the front squat portion of the thruster. The best way to accomplish this is to make sure the KB is as close to your sternum as possible. Do not let the KB ride out toward your shoulder during any part of the movement. Try to keep it as close to your midline as possible (in the front squat and when it’s overhead). If your free hand is not touching the KB during the Front Squat portion of the thruster, NO REP!
Level 2 MODs:
MOD 1: KB (35,20)
Level 1 MODs:
MOD 1: KB (18, 10#DB)
