The 6-week I AM CROSSFIT Challenge came to a close on Valentine’s Day.  We started and ended with a sweet little Fran WOD and the results were truly astonishing 🙂  Over the last 6 weeks, so many PR’s were marked it was absolutely stunning.  Muscle-ups, Double Unders, Bodyweight and 2x bodyweight lifts.  Pull-ups, pistols, PR’s on benchmark WODs.  You name it, it happened, and with force!  Here is a great little shot of the challenge from Mike J.

Screen Shot 2014-02-17 at 4.42.00 PM “I improved everywhere I think. My form was awful in nearly every    lift/workout when we started. I managed to clean them all up pretty significantly. I PR’d every single lift we attempted. I can now do double unders and kipping pullups. Still not pretty, but I can do them where I could not 6 weeks ago. I’ve also gained a few pounds, but can notice a slimmer stomach and toner muscles everywhere, which I give credit to the awesome wods and eating healthier thanks to Brandon Terry and ROOTS Integrative Health. A big thank you to Shawn Bandel and Julia Bandel and all of the coaches. Best decision Gina and I have made, not only joining CFJ, but also participating in the challenge.”
