I am a 24 year old graduate from the University of Colorado. I married my wife Kirsten in November of 2013 and we currently live in Louisville, CO. Growing up in Basalt, CO, I have had the privilege of the outdoors being right at my doorstep, and with it, a passion for healthy lifestyle. During my childhood years, I spent a lot of time with my family and friends camping, skiing, hiking, backpacking, snowmobiling, and dirt biking. During my junior high years, I really started to get involved in my athletics. By 8th grade I was playing 7 different sports throughout the year (golf, soccer, basketball, football, baseball, tennis, track). My passion for fitness and sports grew as I went into my high school career. In high school, I excelled in baseball and football, earning All-Conference Quarterback and All-State catcher my senior year. After graduating high school, it seemed most logical to continue my athletic career into college. I played 2 years of Junior College Baseball at Pima Community College in Arizona. After my stint in JUCO, I transferred to the University of Colorado to pursue a degree in human health as I continued to play Club baseball. I soon graduated from CU with a degree in Integrative Physiology. Upon graduation, I wanted to continue to pursue my passion for sports, fitness, and coaching so I took a job as the head coach of CU’s Club Baseball team. After one year of coaching baseball, I fell in love with coaching, teaching, and mentoring players to help develop themselves not only into well established athletes, but also into grown men. I quickly knew that I had a calling for working with athletes to help them pursue their athletic careers just like my own. Now, I am doing what I love, coaching, teaching, and instructing young adults in all areas of life. I am currently a volunteer Adult Leader of College Younglife ministry at CU, the strength and conditioning coach for Monarch High Schools baseball team, in my second year of coaching CU’s club baseball team, and now in my 3rd month of coaching Crossfit at CFJ. As an athlete, I strive to compete and be the best that I am capable of. As a coach, I expect the same from those I teach. I strive to push others to be the best that they are capable of and nothing less. I’m happy to share my passions with others and help people reach their dreams of sports accomplishments.
