Working through progressions is an awesome way to fine tune your skills and improve your ability to complete new skills. This applies to gymnastics movements, lifts, and for movements like running. There are always baby steps that will take us to the next level and we cannot master a certain skill until the foundation is solid.

So, take it from where you are, practice a little bit each and every day, and soon enough, you will be doing pullups, muscle-ups, walking on your hands, or lifting the weight you didn’t think you would ever be able to do!

No shame in working on a progression. In fact, this will ensure long term success over short term glory or luck!
